last blog

1. I don’t think I will ever revisit this site.. or any other blogging sites. I don’t feel the need to post everything I do to let people see them. I’ll express them in other ways… just not blogging.

2. Not visiting this site, I won’t be able to read what other people write in the future. I didn’t exactly enjoy reading or even doing this whole thing, so I don’t have anyone that I would read if I could.

Favorite author

I really don’t like reading books, but if I had to choose one, I would do Edgar Allen Poe.

His style is UNIQUE, and I like his stories’ themes. Not all of his books are

horror-related and stuff, though. The words he uses are impossible to understand,

but I like how he creates suspense and thrill with his diction.

Too bad he had to die early.

Grades..bleh.

My grades are just about the same as last semester.
It’s not so bad, but not enough for my expectations.
Anyways, I just need to bring my lit grade up,
but that’s not so easy, considering that I’ve been trying to do that ever since…. october?

ehhh spring break?

I didn’t do anything so far…
It’s really boring.
All my friends left to beaches, the capital, and other places, and I’m the only one who’s stuck home. I thought we were leaving to Florida today, but apparently we didn’t. The weather’s going crazy, going up to 80s and stuff, and I HATE hot weather… well maybe it depends on the place. Anyways, I’m having an awful spring break so far, and I hope that it’s not meaningless after the break as it is now.

Tradition

Like any other families, my family has traditions, cultural and familal. Religious..? Not much, since we are atheists. For cultural, we have customs such as respecting the elders, especially the ones related to you. In Korea, the concept of “familal bonding” is really strong, and it has been part of our culture. So almost everyone of your family members have a distinct title to be called by, instead of just uncles or aunts. This is one of many things that make up our cultural tradition. For a familial tradition, my family always go somewhere during spring break. For the past 3 years, it has been Florida. Hopefully it continues this year too.

Group Projects

Working in pairs of in a group is fine with me, but
I need to have the right people in it. I want to have people that I can trust and get along with.
If there is one person who doesn’t do his share,
the whole assignment is ruined, and it means
more work to the other members of the group.
One more thing is that my decision of groups of working alone depends on the subject of the assignment.
If it is movie making of any other things that are not
related to academic things like essays, I prefer to be in a group. If it’s an essay or something else, I want to work alone because that way, the final grade of it can show what I am capable of or what I need to fix.

Movies

I didn’t watch too many movies this year,
but I did like most of those that I watched.
Avatar.. of course. Up was pretty good too,
but I thought it was sad and everyone was like “what’s wrong with you..”
The Hangover was probably the funniest movie
I watched. Oh, and The Hurt Locker was okay too, I think.
But Alice in Wonderland was…disappointing.

I usually take less than 5 minutes to write a blog,
but this time I had to think about what I was going to write
since it’s a free blog.
After I organized my thoughts, I came up with NOTHING.
Today was such a boring day, just walking around my house
finding something to do, but all I did in the end was
sitting in front of my computer staring at the monitor.
Actually, I did do something other than that.. drinking 2 gallons of
water and other drinks. I was so thirsty today, and I don’t even know why.

R&J

I don’t think that Romeo and Juliet has any connections to the teens today.
It’s not like we fall in love and get married after a day, at the age of 15 or so.
Another thing, unlike Romeo, we don’t avenge a friend’s death from a duel(which does
not happen normally) by killing the other person. One thing that can connect to teens today is the immature jokes, and that is something we do on a daily basis.
